Dragon Rally
The Dragon Rally!

Well as the three brave Knights set off on their quest to slay the Dragon (or was that get slayed?) the weather gods smiled down on them and the trip to the dragons hiding place was dry if a little windy. Sir Des the destroyer of Dundee, Sir Julian the Wise of St Bees and Sir Terry the Tipsy of the Beer Tent arrived after several hours of high speed on their trust steeds and after being led astray eventually found the check in point and received the location of the dragon.

Destroyer of Dundee Tipsy of the Beer Tent Wise of St Bees

We headed towards the dragons lair with trepidation as the weather gods saw fit to send rain and wind but being of stout heart the three entered the realm of the dragon, an airfield on the Caernarfon Bay peninsula, and erected their shelters.

It's only VODKA!
Sir Desmond was particularly miffed as he unpacked as he dropped his sleeping potion (Vodka) and so would have to part with lots of gold coin for a new supply.

The Knights then entered the marquee that was supplying food and succour to all the poor souls that had ventured from far and wide and received medals, standards and talisman bearing the dragons emblem (badges scarves and slate coasters, Hmm Nice?). They then entered the eating-house to gain more sustenance as dragon slaying can be a long process and they would need all their strength and then headed for the makeshift Inn to question the locals and other poor souls to try to find the Dragons hiding place.

Well the questioning went on into the night and still even with much parting Misty Mountainsof gold coins and the consuming of large quantities of ales and sleeping potions the knights were unable to find the hiding place.

So with heavy hearts the knights retired to their shelters and tried to sleep. The winds and rains buffeted the tents all night and only when the morning broke did the sun show its face.

There were many bedraggled souls packing up their belongings and heading back to their homes. Someone thought that the Dragon had moved to the Misty Mountains some miles South but it was only hearsay.
So with heavy hearts and sore heads the Knights headed back to their Castles and Princesses and live to fight the Dragon another day.

The End
